Our Story!

Runway Radio is Habib University’s very own exclusive, student-run, and non-commercial radio channel. It serves as a platform for students from all departments to hone their communication and verbal skills and engage in an array of intellectual and stimulating conversations. Ideated as a lab of science and mathematics, the Radio provides students, staff, and faculty members access to new knowledge, academic discourses, and casual discussions, that stimulate novel conversations about everything under the sun. Students are at the liberty to broadcast their thoughts, talents, and projects: radical shows that comment on social issues and today’s political landscape, lighthearted segments about the most popular burger joint in Karachi, and lively interactions that bring students and faculty members closer together. The Radio functions as more than just a communal station – it’s a medium for students to share new ideas, address pressing issues, and curate innovative dialogue as part of the university’s pedagogy.
